OrthoNebraska Earns Top Ratings for National Orthopedic Care
High-quality orthopedic care isn’t a box to check at the end of a successful procedure. At Sequel Ortho, we expand the definition of success into giving patients the support they need throughout their entire care journey.
That commitment is being recognized at OrthoNebraska, a Sequel Ortho partner, which has earned U.S. News & World Report High Performing ratings for 2026–27 in three procedures and conditions: hip replacement, knee replacement and back surgery. A “High Performing” rating indicates that a hospital is significantly better than the national average for that condition.
Recognition Rooted in Patient Care
U.S. News & World Report evaluates nearly 5,000 hospitals nationwide to help patients make more informed decisions about their care. Its Procedures & Conditions ratings consider a range of measures related to patient outcomes, quality of care and each hospital’s ability to care for patients undergoing specific procedures.
For OrthoNebraska, the recognition reflects the work happening every day across an integrated team of physicians, nurses, therapists and other orthopedic specialists.
“We’re proud to see the work of our physicians, nurses, therapists and entire care team recognized by U.S. News & World Report,” said Beth Gard, President of OrthoNebraska. “These ratings showcase our commitment to providing high-quality orthopedic care and helping patients get back to the most important activities in their lives.”
An Experience Worth Recommending
That focus on the individual patient extends beyond clinical outcomes. At OrthoNebraska, 95% of patients say they would recommend the hospital to others. For comparison, the national average is only 87%.
“Every patient has a different goal for what getting better looks like,” Gard said. “It is our honor to provide the expertise, resources and support they need to get there safely and confidently.”
Putting Quality into Practice
As part of Sequel Ortho, OrthoNebraska continues to demonstrate what’s possible when specialized orthopedic expertise is paired with a patient-centered approach across the full continuum of care, from diagnosis and treatment through rehabilitation and recovery.
Congratulations to the entire OrthoNebraska team on this recognition.
