Vishal M. Mehta, MD is an actively practicing board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine. In addition to being a busy orthopedic surgeon and board member at Sequel Ortho, Dr. Mehta is also the president at Fox Valley Orthopedics.
A nationally recognized speaker, researcher, and leader in orthopedic innovations, Dr. Mehta has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the Chicago Sun Times, the Chicago Tribune, Fox News, ESPN, and numerous other publications. An inexhaustible international presenter, Dr. Mehta has lectured throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Turkey, Italy, Switzerland, China, and South Africa on orthopedic topics.
Dr. Mehta is also the founder of the Fox Valley Orthopedic Research Foundation, a biomechanical research laboratory created to study and develop orthopedic fixation devices and implants. In addition, he is the founder of the Foundation for International Orthopedic Development – a not-for-profit organization created to establish and further orthopedic care in Zambia, Southern Africa.
